BIO

I am from Ireland, however, I moved to Wales in July 2019. I completed a MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Trinity College Dublin in 2019, qualified as a BCBA in 2020, and then had the pleasure of becoming part of the Skybound team in January 2021. I have worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis for over six years working as a tutor turned teacher at an ABA preschool in Ireland, a tutor turned consultant on multiple home programmes in both Ireland and Wales, and as a Positive Behaviour Support consultant for adult residential homes and day centres across Wales. I have worked with children from the ages of 2 years old in the ABA preschool up to adults in their 80’s in residential settings.

When I was 15 years old I began volunteering with a local Special Olympics club on a Saturday morning. I loved it so much and had so much fun that within a few months I was volunteering at back to back athletics sessions, and within a few years I also began coaching evening basketball sessions midweek. Through volunteering, I had the privilege to coach and chaperone athletes to multiple Regional County and National All-Ireland Games. I even got to travel to Austria to the World Winter Games which was amazing to experience with the athletes. These experiences are what drove my desire to upskill and commence my career in ABA.

In my spare time I love listening to crime podcasts while doing arts and crafts. Although, unfortunately my two cats love to get involved in the mess too sometimes! I love all things sport and have played multiple competitive sports from a young age including basketball, athletics, ultimate frisbee, and tag rugby. Unfortunately due to injury, I do not take part in any competitive sports anymore, however, now I love staying active through swimming, paddle boarding, and going for walks.
