Paula has worked within the business field for over 25 years and joined Skybound in 2018 to co-ordinate & develop it’s HR and H&S services. She is also a qualified Counsellor, having completed a 3 year Diploma with the Adlerian Society of Wales in 2015.

BIO

I am originally from Cardiff and have lived in Manchester, Bolton, Swindon before settling in Pembrokeshire in 1995. I am a mum to two boys and a nanny to one grandson who has changed my life for the better. I feel blessed to have travelled Australia and visited so many wonderful places in my life and looking forward to what the future holds.

I started my career in admin and moved into finance and payroll. I spent 10 years as Payroll Manager and for the majority of that time I worked within the HR department and that’s when I realised my passion was people. A big part of my role is HR and I really enjoy getting to recruit everyone that joins Skybound. Working at Skybound allows me to apply my skills in areas such as recruitment, staff wellbeing, administration and organisation to support Skybound. I am encouraged and supported to develop these continuously within the established culture of learning, support and development.

Working at Skybound has introduced me to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and I have undertaken training in this area. I love working with ACT and it compliments my Adlerian background perfectly.
